Catholic Multi Academy Trust / Non-Teaching / Phase: Secondary with sixth form
This is a rare opportunity to join us in a pivotal position within the School and College. St Wilfrid’s is an ambitious community of learners, both students and staff, where individuals are valued. Joining us, you will be supported and developed so that, as well as contributing to students’ success and that of the overall School, you are personally developed in your career.
You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team providing a high-quality, confidential and comprehensive secretarial, clerical and administrative service to the Headteacher and SLT in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the School as a whole. You will act as clerk to meetings within the School and will ensure high confidentiality and that General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) processes and procedures are adhered to. You will also provide administrative duties for the Headteacher and the Academy Council, ensuring a high level of professional service as the first point of contact with the School’s stakeholders on matters requiring the Headteacher’s and/or SLT’s attention.
St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth Form is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11–18-year-olds based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,481 students in attendance. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.
We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust, which comprises three Secondary Schools and 12 Primary Schools. We are a Catholic School that extols the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of servant leadership in everything we do.
