We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic female Teacher of Physical Education (0.55 FTE) to join our P E department. This role focuses on delivering engaging Key Stage 3 & 4 PE lessons that inspire students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and overall well-being and also lead extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, fixtures and events.
Position: Teacher of P.E. 0.55 FTE
Department: Health and Physical Education
Education Stage: Secondary (Key Stage 3,and 4)
Experience: One year minimum
Skills and Qualifications:
– A relevant degree or qualification in Physical Education or related subject
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
– Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate young learners
– Ability to plan effective lessons tailored to diverse student needs at Key Stage 3 and 4 levels
– Basic knowledge of health, fitness, sports rules, and safety procedures
– Expectation to lead extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, fixtures and events
