Design and Technology Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our school, teaching across Key Stage 3.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative Design and Technology lessons that inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. You will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning, able to motivate and challenge students of all abilities, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive department.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design and Technology or a related field
• At least 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 Design and Technology curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons for diverse learners
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
• Proficiency in relevant design software/tools is desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
