Website Update and Improvements

The school summer holidays provided the ideal opportunity to migrate our website to new servers in Worcester. Designed for future growth with built-in redundancy, our upgraded infrastructure now runs on a dedicated 1 Gbps connection. We are grateful to our CMAT Foundation members for making this possible.

We also carried the following improvments to our website.

Dashboard

After intoducing the Announcement tab on the Dashboard it has been removed and we we will communicate annoncement directly with you by email.

Post a Job – page

We have decluttered the Description interface and made the typing area much larger.

Your new look: Description interface decluttered, with more space to type!

When you move old technology to new technologh you will run into trouble. We used this as an opportunity to rewrite some of the code, which allowed us to update and make changes to the Post a job page.

There are also some minor updates and improvements you will see, and some you will not. For example, we have updated all forms on our website. We have increased security to prevent hacks and other intrusive attacks.

As a result of the update, we had to rewrite the Job Seekers’ subscription management portal.

Job Seekers – Manage Subscription

We have rewritten this entire section and introduced the option to pause your subscription to our weekly newsletter. To reactivate just sign in and confirm your email address.

New Job posting directly to X (formerly Twitter)

In April this year we published a statement regarding our continued presence on X (formerly Twitter). We have not changed our postion, you can read the statement in full here. From the 4th September 2026 we will no longer be posting individual jobs throughout the day. We will publish one post with a link to all new jobs posted that day.
