At KS3, pupils study either French or Spanish, with the option to continue their chosen language at GCSE. Languages have grown in popularity over the past three years, with two GCSE Spanish groups expected from September. Due to the current structure of the department, we are looking for a specialist who can teach at least one language to GCSE.
Our schemes of learning are founded on the principles of Dr Gianfranco Conti’s Extensive Processing Instruction, and we welcome candidates who are familiar with, or are willing to be trained, in this method.

- Is passionate about teaching French and Spanish
- Is a strong classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management
- Can ensure pupils understand and retain key subject knowledge
