The Governors of St Matthew’s RC High School seek to appoint a dynamic and exceptional Second in Maths to contribute further to our wonderful school.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Second in Maths to support the leadership of our successful Mathematics department across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly skilled teacher to work alongside the Director of Maths in securing excellent teaching, strong outcomes and a coherent, ambitious curriculum in fluency, reasoning and problem solving.

The successful candidate will combine strong subject expertise with the capacity to support colleagues, develop curriculum and contribute to a culture of high expectations and mathematical confidence across the school. In our Catholic school, Mathematics plays a central role in pupils’ academic success and future opportunities, and we are looking for someone who shares that sense of mission and ambition.
