SEND Lead Teaching Assistant

Grade 7 (Points 23-25), Salary £39,660 – £40,716 Pro Rata

32.5 hours per week (Term-time only with a 6 month probationary period)

The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant. This post offers exciting opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious individual. Applications from graduates are welcome.

What you offer

• Have good numeracy and literacy
• Have achieved GCSE grade C or Level 2 equivalent in English and Mathematics
• Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
• NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants of equivalent qualification or experience.
• Training in relevant strategies e.g. Literacy
• Promote the inclusion of pupils
• Contribute to the safeguarding and protecting of all pupils
