Our school reception is an integral part of delivering high quality customer service and communication, being the main point of contact for all calls, emails and visitors.

The School Receptionist and Admin Assistant plays a vital role as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional impression of the school. As the hub of daily communication and administration, they ensure the smooth running of the front office, manage enquiries efficiently, and provide essential support to staff, students, and families. Their organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to build positive relationships contribute significantly to the safe, effective, and supportive environment that enables the school community to thrive.

School Receptionist and Admin Assistant

Experience in a busy school office would be advantageous
Skills and Qualifications:

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, G Suite including Google Main, Drive and Docs/Sheets
– Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
– Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when needed

– Ability to multi task and manage a busy workload
– Willingness to learn new tasks
