We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and exceptionally skilled Catholic Deputy Headteacher. This is an opportunity

for an individual to join a committed, united Senior Leadership Team who have high aspirations for all students. We are

looking for an experienced and talented individual who can work closely with the Headteacher and the SLT to realise

the ambitious vision of securing excellence in every aspect of school life, and make a positive contribution to an

outstanding Catholic community where our young people can flourish.

The successful candidate will:

  • be a practising Catholic who will nurture the faith and spirituality of our school community
  • Have at least 3 years Senior Leadership experience
  • Be an outstanding teacher with an excellent understanding of how students learn, how barriers to learning can

be overcome and have a proven track record of superb student outcomes

  • Be strategic, creative, energetic and highly organised
  • Be highly informed of current approaches to teaching, learning, assessment, curriculum and inclusion
  • Be an excellent leader and communicator with a clear sense of moral purpose, be analytical and have an

excellent understanding of school improvement strategies and systems

  • Be focused on ensuring that no child is left behind
  • Potentially have aspirations for headship
