This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Drama department at St John Fisher. As a Teacher of Drama, you will play a key role in fostering creativity, confidence and self-expression in our students. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and, importantly, inspire young people to be confident, resilient and ambitious in their learning.

You will have high expectations for our young people, staff and wider community, underpinned by our Catholic ethos and values.

St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy is an 11–18 school serving its local community.

• Is an advocate of enrichment opportunities and wider school/community engagement
• Is a highly effective classroom practitioner with high expectations of all learners
• Has the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds
• Has a commitment to ensuring that every young person can access, participate in and enjoy the performing arts
