We are looking to appoint an Attendance & Outreach Lead to join our Pastoral team from who will

•              assist the Senior Assistant principal in monitoring attendance, behaviour and attitude to learning.

•              Plan and co-ordinate the delivery of practical support, advice and guidance to students, staff and vulnerable families

•              have high expectations for all students and demand high standards of performance, attitude and behaviour in line with the aims and aspirations of this Catholic school.

•              ensure that each student’s experience of their time at the college is a positive and a happy one.

•              contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school to ensure high standards of learning and teaching.

The successful candidate will be able to evidence a good standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 and 16 and have an understanding of attendance strategies.

Working hours for the post are 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am to 3:00pm on Friday’s however from time to time it may be necessary to work flexibly to effectively support college meetings and events, this is a term time plus 10 days post.

Employment is conditional on confirmation of the right to work in the UK – either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa. All new appointments are made subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period.
