Website improvements – October 2024

We would like to thank both visitors and members for their continued support and recommendations for improving our website.

Over the last few months, we have been working hard to improve our website’s functionality and visitor experience.  We have made improvements that you will be able to see and others in the background that will enhance your visit and use of our site.

When we designed the website in 2019, we chose green as the main colour, as this is the colour the church uses in ordinary times.

From Advent, we will change the website’s main colour to the colour suggested in the liturgical calendar. So, on the first Sunday of Advent (1st December), the site’s main colour will change to Purple, and on the third Sunday of Advent (15th December), we will change the main colour to Pink.

For added security, you can now log in without a password.
It’s simple. Enter your username or email address, and you will receive a link to log in directly to your inbox. This method is also helpful if you have forgotten your password, and it is our preferred method of logging in to your account. You can still log in the traditional way with your username/email address and password.

You will already have noticed that on the jobs page, we have added the start date and closing date of the job listing with new icons.

On the main Job listing page, you will notice we have added a Job Summary sidebar (see below for further information), new and consistent icons, and generally improved the page and its loading time.

We have added a Job summary sidebar to the main job listing advert.
The sidebar gives a quick overview of the position being offered.
We hope you find this new feature helpful.

As always, we welcome your feedback, good or bad!
