We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of RE who is inspirational

The successful candidate will have the qualities to motivate and inspire our students and always

bring out the best in them.

You will be required to teach RE both at KS3 and KS4, have strong classroom management skills

and excellent subject knowledge.

Monitoring and tracking the progress of students through data and achieving the best possible

outcomes for them is essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of the RE team.

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic

school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive

ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category. We were judged

“Good with Outstanding Catholic Life and Mission” by Catholic Schools Inspectorate in our S48 inspection in March 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our College making substantial progress under current

leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the

lives of our young people.

At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a

healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits,

including:

– An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.

– A high-quality wellbeing package including medical cover, counselling, physiotherapy, fast track

medical cover, care service and a 24-hour GP helpline.

– Care First Advice – a 24/7 information and counselling service.

– We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax free bikes and safety equipment can be payable

by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.

– Free parking.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as

part of the whole staff team, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of

the college.

All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Therefore, we expect all workers, volunteers and employees to share this commitment. All

appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including online searches and a

satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring

Service (DBS).

It is an offence to apply for the role if an applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity

relevant to children (where the role involves this type of regulated activity).

A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the

recruitment process
