We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our Mathematics department, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This is a full time position offered on a one year fixed term contract.

Job Description:
As a Teacher of Maths at Maria Fidelis Catholic School FCJ, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students aged 11-16. You will play an important role in helping students develop their mathematical skills and confidence while supporting their overall academic progress.

Skills and Qualifications:
– A strong understanding of Key Stage 3 and 4 mathematics curriculum
– Relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
– Good organisational skills with the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
– Willingness to collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department

This role invloves a high level of contact with children and is deemed regulated activity. Successful applications should be considered suitable to work with children and will be expected to undergo an enhanced DBS check, with child barred list, and other checks as part of safer recruitment practicies. We will carry out online searches to help identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online and relevant to your suitability to work with children. No member of staff will be able to start until these checks are complete andthis process takes, on average, a month.
