St Annes RC Voluntary Academy is a Catholic Secondary School, part of the Emmaus Trust. We are a small, close-knit community that places the spiritual and academic development of our students at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an additional exceptional Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team at St Annes RC Voluntary Academy. As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will have the opportunity to inspire our Students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting the Leadership in the department to ensure excellent teaching and outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
· Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all Students, including those with special educational needs or Maths as an additional language
· Contribute to the design and development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is challenging and relevant
· Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
· Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values through your teaching and interactions with students

Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
· Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level
· Ability to plan and deliver outstanding lessons that engage and motivate students
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable Qualities:

· Experience in a Catholic school or understanding of the Catholic ethos

· Ability to teach additional subjects at Key Stage 3 level

· Involvement in extracurricular activities or whole-school initiatives

Salary: MS/UPS
