Teacher of Geography

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our dedicated Geography team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A Level Geography. You will be passionate about your subject and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences that enable all students to achieve their full potential.

You will join a supportive and collaborative department where you will be encouraged to develop professionally whilst making a significant contribution to the success of both our students and the wider school community. You should be motivated and relentless in your pursuit of excellence, using creativity and innovation to inspire a love of learning and ensure outstanding outcomes for all pupils.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,481 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas judged as Outstanding.
