We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic SENDCO to join our highly successful and supportive school from April or . As the SENDCO, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and management of SEND provision across the school. As a thriving secondary school, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student can succeed. We are looking for someone who:
Has a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
Has the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with key.stakeholders (parents, students, staff and external agencies).
Has a proven record of working successfully with SEND children.
Is passionate about working with young people and committed to an inclusive approach to learning.
Has experience of supporting and developing the practice of LSAs.
Is committed to ensuring that students fulfil their potential.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
