St Wilfrid’s RC College is seeking an inspiring, experienced SENDCo, who is a forward‑thinking leader to take on a pivotal strategic role within our Senior Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to champion Inclusion and SEND across a thriving secondary school and to contribute meaningfully to whole‑school improvement at an exciting time in our development.

As our Senior Assistant Head Teacher, you will help shape the direction of our school—ensuring that every young person receives an education that is ambitious, inclusive, and rooted in our core values. St Wilfrid’s RC College is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust includes five Secondary and twenty five Primary Schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.
