We are seeking an outstanding, dynamic and highly motivated Teacher and SENCO to join our dedicated team at St Annes RC Voluntary Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional lead our SEND team.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • lead the development of teaching and learning for SEND pupils across the school
  • have overall responsibility for determining the strategic vision and development of SEND provision across the school
  • have day-to-day responsibility for the coordination of SEND provision to support individual pupils
  • monitor, evaluate and review the curriculum delivered to pupils ensuring it meets their needs, deepens their learning and leads to outstanding outcomes
  • inspire and engage staff and pupils in the vision for the school

You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team focused on making a real difference in the lives of young people. Your work will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to grow professionally within a school committed to excellence and Catholic values.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • NASENCO qualification, or a willingness to work towards
  • Experience of working with SEND students
  • Shares our vision of being an outstanding professional Catholic learning community
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to serving and supporting all students
  • Embraces inclusive practice and understands the complexities of a diverse student body
  • Experience of working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Is proactive in contributing to school improvement and student success
