Learning Support Assistant – Level 2

Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring highly motivated and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our dedicated SEND Department, working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide high-quality support to our pupils.

The successful candidate will have a genuine commitment to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential. You will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships within school.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and approachable, with a genuine interest in supporting young people.

• Passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEND

• Able to communicate effectively with pupils and adults

• Calm, resilient and able to respond positively to challenging situations.

• A reliable and enthusiastic team player.

• Able to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Willing to learn and develop their knowledge and understanding of XEND.

• Ideally experienced working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs.
