This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to take up the post of Lead Teacher of Design Technology at Mount Carmel RC High School.
The successful candidate will join a forward thinking and highly committed Art, Design Technology and Food Department with a particular emphasis on leading and delivering the Design Technology curriculum. The successful candidate will also play a central role in modelling high quality teaching at KS3 and KS4 and be fully accountable for the achievement and progress of the GCSE Design Technology pupils.
The department benefits from high quality facilities with a purpose built Design Technology workshop fully fitted with a range of materials, tools and machinery such as a 3D printer and laser cutter.

We recognise the challenges and rewards of working in schools and as a result we have an active staff health and wellbeing working party keeping health and wellbeing a priority.
