Are you passionate about Modern Foreign Languages and committed to inspiring students? St Thomas More Language College is seeking a Head of Modern Foreign Languages to join our community of dedicated educators from 1 January 2027. The abilities to teach and lead teaching on Key Stages 3 and 4 French and Spanish are essential.

Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Modern Foreign Languages, you will:
- Lead and develop the Modern Foreign Languages department, driving high standards of teaching, learning and achievement
- Ensure excellent progress and outcomes for all students studying languages across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Develop an ambitious and engaging curriculum, supported by effective assessment and quality assurance processes
- Coach, support and develop colleagues to strengthen teaching practice and departmental performance
- Monitor student attainment, progress and behaviour, implementing strategies to secure continuous improvement
