Hours:                                15 hours per week, term time only – 8:00 – 11:00am Monday to Friday

The Design & Technology department are based in a new state of the art Science and Design & Technology block. With amazing facilities, including a Food Technology room, food preparation room, graphics room and two resistant material workshops and a department of 3 full time specialists, this is an amazing opportunity to play a key role within Food Technology supporting students and the department to provide an outstanding curriculum as our Food Technology technician.

You will find the Design & Technology department a cohesive team who demand the best from each other and from their students. The right candidate would benefit from entering a supportive environment with a blend of skills, innovation and experience. We promote a positive Catholic ethos but there is no requirement to be Catholic to apply.

Requirements:  GCSE A to C in Maths, English and Science.  Knowledge of, or experience working under COSHH and ESCC guidelines and Health and Safety regulations.  Knowledge of safe working practices around potentially hazardous matters and equipment would be preferable.
