We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our Arts Department, specialising in Graphic Arts and Design for Key Stage 3 students.

Job Description:
As a Design and Technology Teacher at St Aloysius RC College, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Graphic Arts and Design to Key Stage 3 students. You will inspire creativity, develop practical skills, and encourage critical thinking through innovative teaching methods that align with the curriculum. The role involves planning lessons, assessing student progress, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Technology or related field
– Minimum of 1 year teaching experience at secondary level
– Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 curriculum requirements for Graphic Arts and Design
– Ability to plan creative lesson plans that engage diverse learners
– Good classroom management skills with an ability to motivate students
– Proficient use of relevant design software/tools is desirable
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
