Key Responsibilities

As a Department Technician, you will:

  • Assist the Heads of Departments and Senior Technician in coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and support staff throughout the school

  • Have knowledge of tools, machinery and materials used secondary school departments
  • Have strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Show high levels of integrity, confidentiality and commitment to safeguarding
