We are looking for a Attendance Administrator to join us as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team of specialists who aim to develop and maintain students’ curiosity, interest, and enjoyment of school with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence, within a caring and supportive Catholic environment.
Key duties of the role include:
- To carry out tasks related to pupil attendance and punctuality under the direction of the Attendance and Outreach Lead.
- To carry out tasks related to the administration of the pastoral systems as directed
- To co-ordinate and manage protocols and standard operating procedures.
- To work alongside key staff in college to promote high levels of attendance and reduce levels of absence.
- To ensure all aspects of the college’s Attendance Policy are administered in a way that meets the aims and objectives of the college.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence a good standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 and 16 and have an understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Working hours for the post are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3:30pm on Friday’s however from time to time it may be necessary to work flexibly to effectively support college meetings and events, this is a term time plus 5 days post.
Employment is conditional on confirmation of the right to work in the UK – either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa. All new appointments are made subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period.
