Job Description:
The successful candidate will support the Headteacher in driving high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement at Key Stage 3,4 and 5. You will lead curriculum planning, staff development, and performance management within this stage while contributing to whole-school strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader passionate about making a positive impact on students’ educational outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in secondary education with significant leadership responsibilities.
– Proven track record of effective leadership at middle or senior management level.
– Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 4 curriculum requirements across core subjects.
– Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students alike.
– Experience managing teams, developing staff professionally, and implementing change successfully.
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential; further leadership qualifications such as NPQH desirable.
