The Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Head who will have responsibility for curriculum and enrichment within the academy.

This is a senior leadership position in the academy, so we are looking for someone who will be well respected by students, staff and parents as well as having the vision to progress the academy. This role carries some teaching responsibility as well as ensuring that students in our care are healthy, safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Assistant Headteacher as a key member of our academy’s Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to raising standards of achievement for all students, shaping the future development of the academy and leading on priorities within the School Improvement Plan (SIP). This role will suit an experienced secondary teacher with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to accelerate progress and lead others.

The Palmer Catholic Academy is a very successful, over-subscribed 11–18 mixed, multi-cultural, voluntary-aided comprehensive Academy in the London Borough of Redbridge.  Although a Catholic academy, we welcome applications from Catholic and non-Catholic teachers.
