Administrator for Teacher Training & Events

Location: 89 Addison Road, London, W14 8BZ, and other Trust sites

Contract Type: Permanent, 21 hours a week, 42 weeks a year

Salary: £17,432.07-£17,899.34

Are you an organised, proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to make a meaningful impact in education?

The Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust is looking for a proactive Administrator for Teacher Training & Events to join our Shared Services Team. In this key role, you will coordinate teacher training, school partnerships and professional development, ensuring smooth delivery of recruitment, placements, events and programmes across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as clerk for the Saint John Southworth Foundation and Associations
  • Provide administrative support for programmes
  • Manage lettings of Trust sites and assist with ad-hoc projects
  • Organise induction and assessment days (venue booking, logistics)
  • Represent the Trust at recruitment events
  • Coordinate recruitment processes for trainee teachers and School Direct applicants
  • Liaise with Human Resources and schools for onboarding and offboarding
  • Support marketing efforts
  • Maintain and update the Saint John Southworth Enterprise and Research Alliance (SJSERA) website

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A strong communicator with excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Experienced in administrative roles and working with children or young people
  • Passionate about education and community engagement
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
