We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Psychology and Criminology to join our thriving Sixth Form. The successful candidate will be a passionate specialist with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:
The Teacher of Psychology and Criminology will work closely with the Head of Department to deliver engaging A Level lessons and support the continued development of the curriculum.
· Will teach A Level Psychology within the Sixth Form, fostering critical thinking and independent learning
· Will contribute to curriculum development and the growth of post-16 provision
· Ability to teach Sociology would be desirable to support future curriculum flexibility
· Will use assessment effectively to monitor progress and secure strong student outcomes
· Will act as a Form Tutor, supporting students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and post-18 pathways including UCAS and careers guidance
· Will contribute to the wider life of the Sixth Form and uphold the school’s ethos, safeguarding responsibilities, and high expectations for all students
