We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious teacher to teach Maths at St Andrew’s. The Maths department is very strong with a team of thirteen excellent specialist teachers supported by an intern. Students at St Andrew’s really enjoy their Maths lessons and the results at GCSE are very strong with progress in the top 10% nationally for each of the past 6 years. In 2023, 97% of the students achieved 4+ at GCSE and well over 50% achieved 7+. Maths is our most popular A Level with well over half the students studying it in the Sixth Form and the results are consistently very strong in both Maths and Further Maths. This is a great opportunity to join a very strong and dynamic department which has excellent staff. The position would suit an NQT where they would be offered excellent support at the start of their teaching career or it would suit a more experienced teacher looking to join a great department with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate who is looking to take on responsibility.
