Salary: NJC scale 1 – 9 (£35,125 – £51,758), actual salary (£17,562 – £25,879)

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Law who can teach across our Law courses. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning and be passionate about engaging and enthusing students’ individual inquiry and instilling in them a love and passion for the subject.

You will work within a well-resourced Law Department providing an exciting environment to deliver outstanding teaching and learning. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be willing to teach BTEC Level 3 in Applied Law and A Level Law. The ability to teach a course delivered within our Business Department may be an advantage. The courses taught within the Business Department are:  A levels in Business and BTEC programmes at Level 1, 2 and 3 as well T Levels in Business and Administration. A significant proportion of our students go on to university with many electing to study related subjects, some of whom will go on to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.

This is part time (0.5) permanent role. The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ scale NJC scale 1-9 (£35,125 – £51,758) actual salary (£17,562 – £25,879) depending on experience, inclusive of Inner London Weighting. Progression will be by one scale point each year, subject to satisfactory appraisal outcomes, until scale 9 is reached.
