Teacher of Geography
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our talented team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified teachers to contribute to the continued success of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teach Geography to KS3 and KS4 classes
· Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire a love of learning
· Assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to support their development
· Contribute to the design and delivery of the geography curriculum
· Participate in the wider life of the school, supporting extra-curricular activities and events
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
· Proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level
· Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all students
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Qualities:
· Enthusiasm for leading extra-curricular Geography activities
· Experience in pastoral roles, such as Head of Year (potential for a TLR)
· Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary:
Main Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MS/UPS)
