Salary: NJC scale 1 – 9 (£35,125 – £51,758), actual salary for 0.5 FTE (£17,562 – £25,879) inclusive of Inner London Weighting.

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Chemistry and BTEC Applied Science. You will be teaching A Level Chemistry and BTEC L3 Applied Science. You must be committed to active and innovative teaching and learning and be passionate about the subject. The ability to teach across units on the BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science would be an advantage. Additional responsibility may be available for suitable candidate.

You will work within a well-resourced science department that provides an exciting environment to deliver outstanding teaching and learning. A significant proportion of our students go on to university with many electing to study science related subjects.

This is a part-time 0.5 (with flexibility to discuss) permanent role. The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ scale NJC scale 1 – 9 (£35,125 – £51,758), actual salary for 0.5 FTE (£17,562 – £25,879) inclusive of Inner London Weighting. Progression will increase by one scale point each year, subject to satisfactory appraisal outcomes, until scale 9 is reached.
