Maternity Cover starting September, 36 hours per week, 38 week contract

Salary NJC SCP 16  £24,458 pro-rata (38 weeks) (Pending Pay Review)

We are seeking to appoint a person, for maternity cover, to supervise and manage the school library.

The successful candidate should be

• well organised, efficient and have an enthusiasm for books and reading.
• of a warm and approachable disposition.
• able to engage with a range of pupils helping to develop their literacy skills.
• Expected to work closely with the SEND department and all teaching staff to promote literacy throughout the school.

Upton Hall School is a Roman Catholic Grammar School for girls. There are over 1000 girls on roll and it is oversubscribed. Facilities are outstanding. The school has academy status.
