The Role: As Second in Department for Religious Education, you’ll play a crucial role in leading our Religious Education department alongside the Subject Leader. You’ll contribute to the development of a dynamic and engaging curriculum that reflects Catholic teachings while inspiring students to explore their faith with curiosity and reverence.

The Department: We will start the new academic year in four brand new classrooms which have been built as part of the £3.3 million investment in our school. As part of this development, we will inaugurate a new Chapel to allow all pupils and staff a space for prayer, reflection and collective worship.

Strong leadership skills to support the Head of Department in managing the Religious Education curriculum and departmental initiatives

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents

The ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to deepen their faith

Dedication to the school’s mission and values, including integrating Catholic identity into all aspects of school life
