St Ambrose College Music Department is looking for an inspiring musician and passionate educator to take on the self-employed role of peripatetic drums tutor.

The role will likely entail up to 1 day of teaching, although this is dependent on the number of requests for lessons in the new academic year, with likely increases throughout the term

You must have performance qualifications or equivalents of at least Grade 8 and ideally hold a BA or BMus in Music. Experience of teaching and references from other schools will be requested.

You will be required to teach across the full age and ability range of 11-18. You will be key in ensuring the highest possible standards of student achievement, development and wellbeing.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will liaise with the Director of Music in helping GCSE and A Level students prepare for their performance recitals.

Candidates will ideally hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and be part of the update service or be willing to complete a full DBS check.
