CTK Emmanuel is part of the Christ the King Sixth Forms group of three highly successful Catholic sixth forms located in south east London and Kent. As a professional centre for excellence, CTK Emmanuel offers Applied Technical Qualifications, equivalent to 3 A Levels, and highly specialised routes to university. CTK is a highly ambitious Catholic Sixth Form College, where all students are nurtured and supported to reach their full potential.

We are now looking for an inspirational Trainee Teacher of Health & Social Care for a one-year fixed term teaching contract. You will join a talented staff team in a successful Sixth Form and you will be supported and mentored to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect.

You will study for your teaching qualification one day per week as part of the Borromeo Training Hub, a partnership between London’s four Catholic Sixth Form Colleges and Xavier Teach Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity to train as a teacher while receiving a salary, you will become an outstanding teacher through expert support and training. Alongside your training, you will work as a teacher on a reduced timetable four days a week within our established, supportive and well-resourced Health Studies Department. We will provide high quality and bespoke teacher training that leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
