About the English Department:

The English department is a leading department within the school with a superb literacy programme and a strong uptake at Sixth Form for English Literature A-level. Our GCSE 2023 saw progress and attainment within the top 10% nationally. However, we are more than just focused on statistics; our department is a nurturing and developmental environment, and the Douay Martyrs English Department is the perfect place to develop your career.
