Location: St. Joseph’s College
Salary: Main/Upper Pay Scale + possible TLR for the right candidate
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
As a Science Teacher at St. Joseph’s College, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured Science lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve high standards.
- Monitor progress, provide feedback, and implement targeted interventions where necessary.
- Support the Head of Science in curriculum planning and development.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and projects to enhance student outcomes.
- Play an active role in extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Promote and uphold the Catholic and Lasallian values of the school.
What We Are Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in a relevant Science subject.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 specialism is desirable).
- A passion for innovative teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
