Are you passionate about Maths? The Mathematics Department is an exceptionally successful department whose 2024 exam results boasted GCSE 7+ 30% and A Level A* – A 22%. This results in over 50% of the academy’s Sixth Form choosing to study a mathematical subject to A Level. Further Mathematics is also a very popular and successful subject.
The Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspirational classroom practitioner who has a commitment to academic excellence and a determination for every child to succeed. The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the age and ability range, up to and including A Level and build on the solid foundations already in place and bring learning to life and inspire our students.
The Palmer Catholic Academy is a very successful, over-subscribed 11-18 mixed, multi-cultural, voluntary-aided comprehensive academy in the London Borough of Redbridge. Although a Catholic academy, we welcome applications from Catholic and non-Catholic teachers.
