Our ‘Good School’ (OFSTED, September 2021) is looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic teacher of English who is passionate about their subject and inspirational to their students. This is an exciting time in the journey of our school; and as such we are seeking to appoint the right English candidate to enable us to move forwards in our next chapter.

Cardinal Wiseman is a small Secondary school with a community of teachers and pupils that show care and compassion for each other. As a Catholic school we place our value in the person, recognising that each life is unique and precious. This is evident in our English team where team work and a focus on positive relationships is at the heart of their work.

Our excellent English Department are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and talented teacher. The ideal candidate will be an excellent practitioner with sound subject knowledge and a love for teaching English. This could be perfect for an ECT at the beginning of their own journey, or for an experienced teacher of English looking to further their career in an ambitious environment.

Although we have listed a start date of April 2026 we will consider a September start date.
