Teacher of English

Location:       St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College, Biddick Lane, Washington, NE38 8AF

Grade:           Main Pay Scale 1 – 6 / Upper Pay Scale 1 – 3 (£30,000 – £46,525 per annum) Salary will be pro rata for part time.

Hours:            Full time/Part-time considered, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to join St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College from September 2024.

We wish to appoint a committed and highly effective teacher to teach English across our key stages. You should be educated to degree level and hold qualified teacher status (QTS) as well as having experience of teaching English to KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5.

The successful applicant is expected to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential as well as contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
