About the Business and Economics Department:

• As a department, we are friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about our subject and inspiring students. Our vision for economics and business is to engage and inspire all our students through appropriate accessible courses. These courses range from A Level Economics and Business, GCSE and Vocational BTEC options.
• Our GCSE and A Level result in both Economics and Business are excellent with 100% of our students achieving a GCSE grade, 88.5% A* – C and 39% A*-A. Our classes rank 13% higher than similar centres.
• We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities including Young Enterprise, Virtual Stock Market as well as educational visits to London.
• The Sixth Form Economics and Business classes are located in a new purpose-built facility which also includes a dedicated vocational learning ICT suite.
