About the Role
John Henry Newman Catholic College, part of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (OLAAS MAC), is seeking a committed and inspiring Teacher of Design & Technology to join our team on a maternity cover basis from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive DT lessons across all key stages and abilities.
- Support students in achieving excellent outcomes through high expectations and effective teaching.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvements.
- Act as a form tutor and participate in the wider life of the College community.
- Promote the Catholic ethos of the College through professional and pastoral responsibilities.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS and have a specialism in Design & Technology.
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be committed to professional growth and development.
- Have the energy, motivation, and creativity to inspire students.
- Support and promote the Catholic mission and values of the College.
