About the Role

John Henry Newman Catholic College, part of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (OLAAS MAC), is seeking a committed and inspiring Teacher of Design & Technology to join our team on a maternity cover basis from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive DT lessons across all key stages and abilities.
  • Support students in achieving excellent outcomes through high expectations and effective teaching.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvements.
  • Act as a form tutor and participate in the wider life of the College community.
  • Promote the Catholic ethos of the College through professional and pastoral responsibilities.

  • Hold QTS and have a specialism in Design & Technology.
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge.
