The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Computing department. We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning Computing. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels from ages 11-16.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly department:

·        Be confident at teaching computing at KS3 (Y7,8&9)

·        Show willingness to expanding their knowledge through CPD opportunities to enable them to confidently be able to deliver GCSE computer science from KS3 up to KS4

·        Show willingness to keep abreast of new developments in the subject and contribute to the planning of the subject (but mainly focused on the classes they teach)

·        Be willing to learn different software packages as and when required by the curriculum within the department

·        Show the ability and willingness to teach KS3 Mathematics as an additional subject

·        Show the ability to work well collaboratively with colleagues
