“This is an outstanding school”. Ofsted March 2019.

The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, exceptional Art teacher to join us as soon as possible.

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED in March 2019 as an outstanding school in all areas of its practice; by the DfE as a National Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and innovative Art teacher to our outstanding Art and Photography department. The successful candidate will be a person who has a passion for Art. There is the opportunity to also teach Photography for a suitably qualified candidate.

The school is firmly committed to CPD and promotes opportunities for improving subject knowledge and pedagogy as well as career development within the school.

Effective safeguarding, data protection and promoting the welfare of pupils is our upmost priority. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to online searches in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. References will be sought and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. A respect for the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.

Please see our candidate pack for further information about our school. We would be delighted to welcome interested candidates to book appointments to visit our school and meet with our staff and pupils; please contact Ms Meah, PA to the Headteacher, at cmeah2.304@lgflmail.org to arrange a visit.
