Phase: Secondary / Role: Teaching / Lecturing
St Antony’s Roman Catholic School

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to join our Design & Technology department. This role has a strong emphasis on Resistant Materials, requiring expertise and enthusiasm for delivering engaging and challenging lessons within our well-equipped workshop. While your primary focus will be on Design & Technology, there will also be a requirement to contribute to the delivery of Art lessons, creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all students.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated practitioner committed to their own professional development and driven to improve student outcomes. You will possess the energy and vision to ensure consistently high-quality teaching across all Key Stages.

A strong specialism and practical experience within Resistant Materials (e.g., woodwork, metalwork, plastics) is desirable. Experience teaching 3D Design would be highly advantageous. While not essential, a willingness to contribute to teaching other material areas within Design & Technology (e.g., Graphics) would be beneficial.

Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced professional, you will be welcomed into our supportive and collaborative team.

We strongly encourage you to contact us to arrange a visit to our department and see first-hand the excellent facilities we offer. We are committed to finding the best possible teachers for our students and look forward to hearing from you.

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and it expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
