We are  seeking an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated teacher and Subject Leader  of Physics to contribute significantly to the sustained success of our excellent Science department.

The Science Department is a strong and innovative department achieving excellent results, both at KS4 and KS5.  Physics is a popular and successful A-Level option in the school Sixth Form with many pupils going on to study Physics related courses post-18.

The Science Department has well resourced physics equipment, technician support and  excellent access to IT facilities.

We are a thriving and happy school community with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation leading to heavy oversubscription.

Students’ behaviour at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls’ School is exemplary and parental support is outstanding, providing an excellent environment to develop your career further among our reflective and supportive staff.

The School is a short walk from Upminster town centre and station where Overground (C2C) and Underground (District Line) services are available; the School is also a short drive from the M25, A12 and A13.  The locality is also well served by frequent bus services.
