We seek to appoint an exceptional Curriculum Leader for Art to join our dynamic, high-achieving Art Department.

Our school and 6th Form prides itself on an outstanding reputation in the Arts. With a state of the art studio space and a strong commitment to fostering creativity, we have established ourselves as a hub of artistic excellence in East London.

We offer an innovative KS3 curriculum alongside GCSE Art & Design and A Level Endorsements in both Fine Art and Graphic Communication. Our GCSE and A Level Art results have consistently placed us in the top 0.5% of National achievement, last year our GCSE Results were rated as an Alps Grade 1.

As Curriculum Leader for Art, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of dedicated Art teachers.
  • Develop and enhance our rich, innovative Art curriculum.
  • Foster a culture of high achievement, creativity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate across Departments to promote the Arts throughout the school.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A track record of excellence in delivering outstanding results.
  • Strong knowledge of current Art educational practices and curriculum development.
  • A passion for nurturing creativity and inspiring young artists.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Why Join Us?

Our thriving co-educational 6th Form is ethnically and religiously diverse, attracting students from across many local schools. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school whilst providing a supportive and nurturing environment for other teachers in the curriculum team.

St Bonaventure’s has been recognised by the DfE, Ofsted, SSAT and the Teaching School Council for our investment in improving student life chances and the development of our staff. We are part of the successful and highly-respected Agnus Dei Catholic School Alliance.

We believe that our students have an entitlement to the very best education, with high expectations for all in our community.

We Offer:

An opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, inspired and motivated team where staff genuinely feel valued and cared for.
